Vic Lindal senior met his wife, Victoria up in the cold northern town of Atlin, BC where he was seeking his fortune mining for gold. He convinced her to marry him and stay in Atlin. They lived there long enough to have their two sons, Victor and Rodger. Vic Sr. felt a longing to return to his roots in Victoria, and by that time his lovely wife had enough of the cold! So, they went to Victoria and soon had their youngest child, Virginia. The Lindal family planted roots and became very involved in the community, whether it be helping out with Boy Scouts or starting the Cordova Bay Softball Association amongst other things. Victor E. Lindal married Sheila Macmaster in 1965, and they are proud parents of four children: Mark, Dean, Darren and Andrea, and proud grandparents of 9 grandchildren (so far): Stephanie 14, Josh 14 , Jessica 13, Larissa 9, Tasha 7, Aiden & Zachary 5, Ben 3, Jeffery 1.
